We are changing the way patients access the service over the up and coming weeks. It is called ‘ASK MY GP.’ It is a system where you contact us via an online portal available via our website www.oaklandsurgeryyeovil.co.uk , telephone or you can come in to the surgery, tell us about what you need help with, this can be done for your children and anyone you care for. It is a simple quick process; the request is then sent to the most appropriate person to deal with it and you are contacted back either by messaging via the portal or by telephone. Unfortunately this does mean that currently we are booking ahead with the doctors so please bear with us, we will of course deal with anything that cannot wait.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot keep an appointment.
Please be aware that appointments that are not attended waste the doctors and nurses time and also there are other patients that could have made use of those appointments. If patients repeatedly do not attend, without a valid excuse they will be removed from the practice list.
Please be prompt. If you are 10 minutes late you will be asked to make a new appointment so that other patients are not inconvenienced. Please make the receptionist aware if you feel your problem is urgent
Please remember one appointment is for one person only.
If you are over 75 and have not been seen within the last year, or between16 and 75 years and have not been seen within the last three years you may request a consultation with either the nurse or a doctor.
