It's available 24/7 - we respond in working hours, 8am and 5pm Monday and Friday, 8am and 3.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Due to the high level of demand we will endeavour to respond to requests as quickly as possible hopefully within 48 hours(2 working days), if the request is deemed as urgent it will be dealt with that day. Please be aware it could be longer if the issue is for a GP due to the large demand currently.
All our registered patients are welcome, and as a parent or carer you can use askmyGP on behalf of a patient
You can choose a particular named GP if you wish (so long as they are working that day)
You may prefer a telephone or email response and choose Oaklands or Yeovil Health Centre

The doctors and staff at Oaklands Surgery in Yeovil are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
We are also a GP Training practice helping to train up and coming Gp's.
All Patients have a named GP who is responsible for the patients overall care, if you wish to know who your named GP is please contact the surgery. This does not stop you seeing any GP at the practice.
As a practice we want to improve communication with our patients. We want to make sure you can read and understand the information we send you. If you find it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know. We want to know if you need information in braille, large print or easy read. We want to know if you need a British Sign Language interpreter or advocate. We want to know if we can support you to lipread or use a hearing aid or communication tool.
